| Just an hour before the canyon is completely socked in by thick winter fog, the afternoon sun dimly lights the canyon floor and a BNSF south bound manifest quickly moving alongside the Caliente Creek, as the train climbs the steepest part of the Tehachapi grade, only minutes from the town of Caliente. |
