THE SEMINOLE arrives in Effingham on a cold morning behind a GofG E8 and two IC E9A units. It is crossing the Pennsylvania Railroad's Panhandle Line here and the Pennsy's position light signals can be seen, I had spent the night in Effingham as a USAF 2nd lieutenant on my trip from Lubbock, TX to Hackensack, NJ.
