| East Chicago is home to a Ton of great Railfaning locations that are all kind of hard to get to and safety is questionable. The Arcelor Mittal, Now Cliffs, Indiana Harbor Plant always has action. Sometimes its hard to find this set of GP 15-1's.
As far as I can tell these are still MAX Transportation locomotives although they now have a small Cliffs logo on them.
In this shot the Plant Job is pulling of cut of Cold Rolled steel out for transfer to the NS. |
