The famous electric locomotive Dm3 (1'D+D+D 1') #1246-1247-1248 "Oskar" formerly from the Swedish State Railways (Statens J?rnv?gar) is pulling a heavy iron ore train in the early morning at 5.20 am between Kaisepakte and Abisko as it used to do between 1970 and 2013. On the occasion of the 120-year anniversary of the iron ore line "Malmbanan", the Swedish railway museum together with LKAB iron ore mining company ran several historical trains between June 30 and July 4 2022. This impressive electric locomotive was built by ASEA and delivered in 1970. It has a power output of 7,200 kW (9,700 hp). It now belongs to the Swedish railway museum in G?vle.
