      Remarks & Notes
Is It Dry Yet? Residing at the Rockhill Trolley Museum for over 60 years, former Johnstown Traction Company (PA) double-truck "Birney Safety" Car 311 (Wason, 1922) was originally operated in Bangor, Maine, coming to JTC in 1941. Wearing a fresh coat of the signature "traction orange" paint, it is seen in the museum's restoration shop on Sunday, August 9, 2015. At the time of this visit, the photo was to be kept "under wraps" ahead of the Saturday, August 22, 2015 re-dedication of this car, which had been out of service since 2003. It joined by newly restored SEPTA PCC 2743 and newly arrived San Diego U2 1019 as honorees for the day, the first time the museum had ever brought 3 cars into service at the same time.
