| Brand new cogwheel railcar Bhe 2/2 # 41 of the Pilatus Bahnen is running down on the 48.0 % grade through the Eselwand (donkey wall) as train CC 14 from Pilatus Kulm to Alpnachstad. The Pilatus Bahnen get 8 of this new railcars from StadlerRail and Calag Langenthal (carbody) to replace the 9 old railcars Bhe 1/2 # 21 to # 28 from 1937 and # 30 from 1967. The new railcars will run as two car trains in multiple control and circulate slightly faster then the old, enabling a 30 minutes timetable instead of the 40 minutes interval timetable now. |
