| This weekend, the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke celebrated 30 years of operation on the Realp to Tiefenbach section and 120 years of 0-4-2 T cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 2/3 # 6 "Weisshorn". The HG 3/4 # 4, lettered as "FO 4" (Furka-Oberalp-Bahn # 4), is leaving Tiefenbach with train 157 from Realp to Gletsch. From Gletsch to Oberwald, the train will be pulled by diesellocomotive HGm 4/4 # 62 due to high wild fire risk. |
