A break in the monsoon clouds made a difference as the sun came out just in time for Amtrak's Saturday edition of the eastbound Sunset Limited, rolling into the city of Maricopa on a humid August morning, running nearly 2 hours late. Leading the way is one of Amtrak's 50th Anniversary heritage locomotives, this one honoring the Phase III scheme the Dash 8 locomotives had in the 90's, also referred to as the "Pepsi Can" paint scheme.
