| The scene at New Hyde Park is quite different from the last time I was there with the addition of a third mainline track from Floral Park to Hicksville, with the first section between Floral Park and Merillon Avenue being in service allowing express or freight trains to bypass the platforms. We see an extra crew bring 16 loaded ballast cars bound for unloading on the Oyster Bay branch. |
