About a year before their original line was abandoned, I found Pickens GE U18B #9502 siting at the old Pickens, SC Chattahoochee Locomotive Company shop along with JWRX GP10 #8383 (former South Carolina Central) and JWRX Alco S2 #90. The shop was the only revenue customer on the original line at the end and since it was and is owned by the same people that own the railroad, the decision was made to move the shop to the Anderson line and abandon this segment of track.
