| In Derby, southbound Metro-North train 1979 to Bridgeport takes the siding at CP-510 to meet with northbound train 1936 to Waterbury. These meets normally occur out of view and closer to the south end of the passing siding at CP-509. Ideally, a locomotive facing south would be nicer, but Metro-North runs them on the north end of their diesel trains. |
