| CN locomotive 1754 is out of the train shed at the New Brunswick Railway Museum at Hillsborough, NB, for the first time in 17 years. CN 1754 was one of six such locomotives of the same model regularly assigned to PEI between ~1975 and 1989. After being retired from CN, it was acquired by the Salem & Hillsborough Railway who ran it on their dinner train on an 8 mile section of the former Albert Sub until it became no longer feasible due to a number of reasons. It is currently stored operable and on static display at the museum. |
