“Paint It Black”
With plenty of power at hand, easy work is made of pulling lengthy manifest 11Z (East Binghamton-Knoxville) west through the Franklin County farmlands of the Cumberland Valley. The location is just west (compass south) of Norfolk Southern’s Greencastle yard (visible in the distance), on the former Conrail Hagerstown Secondary (exx-PRR/PC Cumberland Valley Branch).
