One of those days when it all came together. First off, yes, it's "THE" Logger, not simply "Logger"....running from Bennett Sawmill in Harvard to Palouse. Turned out to be the least expensive private photo charter in my life. I got a call when I was up on the STM ops that they were heading down to the sawmill and that they would turn back with loads....as soon as I could get there! From there, it was just leapfrogging at the posted speed limit all the way back to Palouse where the train combined with another local as "The Highball" back to Marshall the following day. Scenes like this lasted a few more years, the owner of 6304 seemed to think it was better to have it working as needed on this outfit than sitting idle somewhere....but in the end, that's essentially what happened. It left the property in 2013 with sister 6311 (don't think it ever ran a train) to be stored with other equipment in Alberta's Wainwright Rail Park where they were restored to CNR paint.
