| The Clouds are low and the River is quiet as me and 2 friends wait and listen for the "morning Z's" horn in Gold Bar. As we hear the horn we prepare our Cameras and get our framing right, eager to get the shot. The engines get less faint and we start to realize the train is just around the corner. Suddenly it pops out from the Trees, rushing onto the Bridge and crossing the River. In just a blink of an Eye the power is gone back into the Trees. We take a peek at our shots then run to the car as we are discussing where we should shoot next. Good times on Stevens Pass... |
