| Fall foliage along Colorado's Rockies are nearing peak colors in early October. The sounds of dead leafs blowing with the wind is broken by the sounds of General Electric motors charging hard up the 2% grade along the eastern slope of the Moffat Tunnel Sub. Peaking through the foliage, a pair of BNSF Dash-9s, sporting the H1 paint scheme, fight the mountain grade with their 5,600 ton train as they roll though Tolland. |
