| Crossing the drawbridge on the northernmost bridge of the peninsula between Fort Myers & North Fort Myers on National Train Day is the River Rail Explorer, once a staple of the SGLR excursions. In September 2022, Hurricane Ian wiped out all of the other bridges south of here and it will be a long haul to rebuild the railroad. |
