After stopping at Maine to hold for a higher priority train to run around them, this intermodal continues their trip East. The train was stopped on the steep grade of the Arizona Divide and the two GEs put on quite a show to get going with prime movers cranking in notch eight and sand flying. Landscape photography is difficult due to the challenge of combining good light and good scenery. Good railroad photography enters another level of complexity since it requires the first two while there is a train in view.
