| All is quiet in the massive, former Southern Railway Back Shop on the grounds of the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer NC. J-Class 2-8-0 #542 was built in 1903 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Southern Railway's subsidiary Atlantic & Yadkin Railway. She makes a fine sight for this night photo shoot. |
