    Remarks & Notes
A Flare (Flair) for Hauling Stone
As light engines, Maryland Midland’s stone train (UBST) is crossing LeGore Bridge Road, about to enter the Barrick Quarry property to fetch stone loads for transport to Barrick’s Finksburg Terminal. Although classed as SD40-2s, the two 6-axles (3451, 3450) are ex-SP and are shrouded in SD45 carbodies.

MMID’s MDOT Subdivision is the former PRR/PC Frederick Secondary.
