    Remarks & Notes
Nestled inside the center of CSX's Russell Yard, Progress Rail's Raceland Shops in Raceland, Kentucky have tracks full of relatively modern EMD locomotives that have been cast off from Class 1 Railroads in recent years. The ranks include SD70M's from NS, KCS, and CSX, SD70M-2's and SD70ACU's from NS, and SD70ACe's from CSX. Sitting out front are a few selected units undergoing various workscopes, including RJCC 2616, an ex-NS SD70M that is now being prepped for delivery to RJ Corman.
