Changing track gauge in Zweisimmen, daily business since change of timetable on december 11, 2022. The GOLDENPASS EXPRESS train PE 4065 from Interlaken Ost to Montreux is changing from standard gauge to meter gauge at a maximum speed of 15 km/h during departure. The train consists of 4 cars: cab car (driving trailer) Ast # 181-1 "Gstaad" with first class and prestige class, first class car As # 191-0, second class car # Bs 281-9 and cab car ABst # 381-7 with second class and 9 prestige class seats. At the end pushes the locomotive Ge 4/4 # 8002 of the MOB. This composition is christened "Gstaad". The cars were designed by Pininfarina, built by StadlerRail with variable gauge bogies EV18 from Alstom/Salzgitter. The whole procedure with locomotive change and gauge change takes 10 minutes. Both gauge change systems on tracks 6 and 7 are in active position.
