| CDTX 2109, an SC-44 "Charger" built by Siemens in 2018, gets a wash by a member of Amtrak's mechanical shop force at Redondo Junction on a cool, fall morning. Note how brown the screens on the unit have become following years of service - a stark difference from when they match the color on the side of the unit when they were brand new. |
