| First light at Falkenburg greets the heavy snow load that's battered the Muskoka region with the lumber, trucks, and other equipment at Muskoka Timber Mills' yard still completely buried. CN's spreader has struggled to keep up, about to start day three after working South Parry to Sparrow Lake the first day and Sparrow Lake to Falkenburg (via Brechin and Washago) the day prior. They're ready to go but will wait on the first 451 in days to roll north ahead of them before working as far as Huntsville and then returning back to South Parry later in the day. Getting this spreader in action is a rare occurrence and it was pretty incredible to see the last C40-8M on CN's active roster teamed up with it to do the heavy lifting. |
