Back in the Eighties, In More Ways Than One…
A number of Bangor & Aroostook GP38s have gathered in the BAR's small yard in Hermon, adjacent to one of the railroad’s namesakes: Bangor. GP38s 82, 84 and 88 are grouped on the left, with GP38 86 and others on an adjacent track. Meanwhile, on the right are some older diesels, such as BL2 51 and F3A 46. (Hermon, Maine – May 1983). An assortment of photos of the distinctly unique (and 'cute') little locomotive EMD ever built, the BL2! I understand it also makes a tasty sandwich..Oh, that's a BLT! (When a new BL2 photo is "ordered", it will be served fresh!)
