| The second section of the Global II, IL to Brooklyn, OR Z-train waste no time climbing the 1.55% grade of Sherman Hill near Granite. This was location was the site of the 2018 runaway train where an eastbound UP train rear-ended another stopped train; killing both the conductor and engineer. |
