Inside Wisconsin Central’s car shop at North Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, is a Soo Line boxcar that is being prepped for WC paint, along with freshly-painted EMD SD45 No. 6532 getting some finishing touches. This former Soo facility aptly called “Shops Yard” was extensively used by WC as its major car and locomotive shop.
