FLAGSTAFF AZ July 6 1986 — Santa Fe GP35u 2904 awaits its next assignment. EMD built the unit in August 1956 as GP35 1404 and delivered it with a blue body and yellow ends (bookends). In the March-July 1970 general renumbering it became GP35 3404. After August 26 1972 it was rebuilt as GP35u 3404, got a cab roof air conditioner and was repainted with a blue body and yellow warbonnet. On Sept 22 1995 it was transferred to BNSF. On Jan 7 2000 it was repainted to BNSF H1 paint and renumbered to BNSF 2604.
