| Norfolk Southern is replacing the 132 pound welded rail on this line with larger 136 pound per yard welded rail. This is part of a multiyear project to increase capacity. Here an EB rail train is dropping new rail in a swag that betrays the civil war-era engineering of the Bristol line. Interesting spring ahead.
