The last Santa Fe F7 left resides in the California State Railroad Museum. This is the only F7 originally built for Santa Fe that is still an F7. In the 1970s, Santa Fe turned over 200 F7s into CF7 switchers, many of which are still around handling duties for shortlines across the country.
