| BN 972500 sits in Skykomish, WA awaiting the next call to clear snow on BNSF's Stevens Pass mainline. Snow volume and traffic density will determine if the machine will be called to duty. This unit dates back to Great Northern. A similar plow is stored at Appleyard in Wenatchee to attack snow issues from the east side of the Pass. |
