    Remarks & Notes
Acela II On The Road In Daylight. On March 13, 2023, Amtrak's ALSTOM Acela II Train Set 2 (AMTK 2103/2102) made the trip from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Boston, Massachusetts as Train 838(13) during the day. The train is going to be in Boston for part of the week for crew familiarization and other training as the Acela II program continues to develop. The Acela II program will ultimately deliver 28 high speed train sets to Amtrak. The 11 unit set is seen passing over the Saugatuck River in Westport, Connecticut.
