| CNW 6927 & 6929 lead two Missouri Pacific (yes MP) SD50s on an eastbound coal train near Lost Springs, WY. The train originated north of Bill, WY on the Joint Line (CNW/BN) and the growth of this business from the mid 1980s made CNW financially strong and resulted in acquisition by Union Pacific in 1995. I happened to pace this train while en route from Seattle to Omaha for a CNW sales meeting in Omaha. |
