| BNSF 6414 leading a pair of SD70ACes holds the main track at Scenic Siding waiting for the Cascade Tunnel to have its exhaust blown out of the west portal after meeting a westbound train here. Once cleared, the train will proceed into the 8 mile long tunnel, still heading upgrade until it nears the east portal. From there its all down hill to Wenatchee and its crew change. |
