| "Glass Out at New Haven"
During the early morning hours of March 16th, 2023, Amtrak MP15DC 535, idles "glass out" on Track 2 at New Haven Union Station in Connecticut while the conductor walks the brake test. 535 was tasked with towing a switch panel train from the station to the nearby Cedar Hill Yard after it was towed from New Jersey to Connecticut by an electric locomotive. Amtrak's MP15DC locomotive fleet continues to run on borrowed time as 36 newly rebuilt EMD GP38-3's purchased from Progress Rail begin to arrive on the property.
