Waterville, Maine to Selkirk, New York manifest train M427 is seen notching up after holding at the B&M era searchlight signals that guard the West end of the siding at Graniteville in Westford. "Control Point Freight" 309 miles from the end of the territory at Mattawamkeag, Maine is what the signal name designates. Rumor has it that CSX will be renumbering the mileage in the near future based on a different starting point.
