| Amtrak's Empire Builder rumbles thru Rondout on the CP C&M Sub. Work continues here for Metra to extend a long siding from the C&M Sub to the Fox Lake Sub. New signals will be going in here, and the classic searchlights are on borrowed time. The Builder is on the last 40 miles to Union Station and just meet its westbound counterpart 5 miles back.
The signals went down in the 1st part of November 2022. |
