| The CP sometimes struggles with the morning meeting of their daily St. Paul to KC trains south of Davenport due to train lengths. As is the case today, 260 and 261 had to meet on the double track between Nahant and Montpelier. Here 261 rolls north as they wave at 260 that's been waiting close to 4 hours for this meet. South of Nahant the CP uses the old 2nd main as an industrial lead to service numerous customers and can be also used as a long siding. Unfortunately, junk power comes along with these trains many days too. |
