Armin G?tz, founder and owner of IGE Erlebnisreisen from Hersbruck in Germany, organized a 3-day round trip "BELLA ITALIA EXPRESS" around the Italian boot with the legendary express railcar ETR # 252 "Arlecchino" (built by Breda, Milano, for the Ferrovie dello Stato in 1960) of the Fondazione FS Italiane. The 4 car train was completely rebuilt by the Fondazione from 2016 to 2019 in the O.M.S. Ferroviaria S.R.L. in Poppi, Arezzo. About 80 travelers from various countries enjoyed the 2150 kilometers trip in beautiful weather in this luxurious first class train with its panoramic compartments at the front and in the rear. The friendly staff of the Fondazione FS Italiane, here the two train managers, in the matching uniforms of the 1960s, contributed with their great commitment to the unique experience. The train stopped in Palombina near Ancona on the line along the Adriatic Sea.
