CN "mudhens" 5090 & 5198 exit the CN mainline with a westbound freight and enter CP's Mission-Huntingdon branch to head across the Fraser River and access the CP main into Vancouver. This detour move lasted for some time in 1976 after a vessel hit and damaged the BN/CN/BCH bridge at New Westminster. Normal traffic on this branch was CP's Coquitlam-Huntingdon turn which connected with BN and MILW at Sumas, WA.
