Speeding through New Jersey as it makes its way from Boston to Washington DC, Amtrak Acela Express trainset 16 (with power cars 2012 and 2013), operating as train 2153, has sounded its horn to acknowledge the whistle sign displayed on the platforms at the station. These spotters not only hold up the whistle signs to remind the engineers passing through to blow their horns, but they also each have compressed air horns that they blow to alert those working on upgrades to the station's platforms that a train is approaching.
