| In the SBB's largest shunting yard, RBL (Limmattal shunting yard) between Dietikon and Killwangen-Spreitenbach, several of the Alstom built Aem 940 are operating for shunting and pushing the trains over the hump. The SBB ordered 47 of this electro/diesel "Prima H4" locomotives with 2000 kW from the overhead wire and 900 kW with the diesel drive (two CAT 18 motors). The Aem 940 # 037 can be seen pulling a train from the large classification yard (64 tracks) over the hump in diesel mode. On the left track of the hump, a train is pushed over the hump. |
