| The Intercity 280 from Zürich via Schaffhausen-Singen (Hohentwiel)-Tuttlingen-Rottweil-Horb to Stuttgart is crossing the Rhine betweeen Eglisau and Hüntwangen-Wil on the 457 meter long and 50 meter high single track viaduct with a main span of 90 meter. The locomotive Re 420 # 172 (Re 4/4 II # 11172) of the SBB is pulling 5 second class Bpm and one first class Apm cars of the SBB. From Singen (Hohentwiel) to Stuttgart, this cars will be pulled by a locomotive of the 101 series of the Deutsche Bahn. The journey Zürich - Stuttgart is 2 hours 55 minutes. The Rhine is dammed by the Rheinsfelden power station 3 kilometer down the river. |
