DWP 3609 & 3603 show off two of five color schemes worn by DW&P RS-11s in their life on the railroad. The "zebra" scheme on no. 3609 would be the last CN scheme used. They would then see a red dip job followed by GTW red/blue. Some would later go to Central Vermont and get a green/yellow scheme. (A few were leased in the 60s to CV and wore the 3603's scheme with CV lettering before returning to DWP.)
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
