WC 6629 heads up a southbound train waiting for a crew at South Itasca near Superior, WI. By 1997 the WC had acquired full access to the interchange with CN at Superior and the route from Superior to Chicago would make bridge traffic for WC their dominant revenue source and lead to CN acquiring them in 2001.
