    Remarks & Notes
NORMAN OK June 12 1978 — Santa Fe F45 5910, F45 5925, U25B 6606 and a GE approach West Franklin Road on a northbound mixed freight. EMD delivered the unit in June 1968 as ATSF 1910. In the March-July 1970 general renumbering it became ATSF 5910. In February 1983 it was rebuilt and renumbered to ATSF F45u 5960. Sometime between July 1985 and July 1986 it gained the failed Southern Pacific-Santa Fe merger paint scheme. It regained its ATSF paint before Jan 1 1991. Santa Fe retired the unit in March 1994, Morrison Knudsen acquired it and it became MKCX 5931. Utah Railway leased the unit as UTAH 9013 in May 1995. It was removed from service in October 2001. It was seen stored at Metro East Industries on December 16, 2007, intact and in full Utah Railway paint. In 2009 the locomotive was sold into private ownership and converted into a lodge. It resides in Essex MT as GN 441. A big thank you to Mark Greenlee for correcting the as-delivered number to 5910 and for adding new information. Corrections STILL welcome. My photo.
