Soo Line's sole SD9, no. 2381, sits in the Shoreham round house for a major overhaul. Neighboring roads like GN, CB&Q, DM&IR, MILW & CNW all had moderate to large fleets of this EMD model. Soo Line had more 6 axle Alcos than EMD in the first generation.
