New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R68A no. 5024 (Kawasaki, 1988-1989) is seen leading a special service into World Trade Center Station on the IND 8th Avenue Line. Typically only served by E trains, this station is the southern terminal for baseball special services for weekend Yankees gamedays, providing direct service between 161st St-Yankee Stadium Station and 34th St-Penn Station - a trip that would normally require a transfer. |
