| The excavated material from the construction of the second tunnel tube of the Gotthard road tunnel is transported from G?schenen to Flüelen, where it is dumped in Lake Lucerne to create shallow water zones. Train 67668 pictured has loaded about 950 tons of excavated material. Thanks to the Re 620's recuperation brake, energy is generated in the process and fed back into the grid. |
