| PURCELL OK (September) 1977 — Santa Fe CF7 2486 awaits a crew. EMD built the unit as F7A 259C and delivered it in a blue body with creme and vermillion trim. In January 1975 Santa Fe’s Cleburne (TX) shops rebuilt the unit as CF7 2486 and painted the body blue with a yellow warbonnet. Santa Fe retired the unit on Aug 9 1986 and shortly thereafter sold it to Blue Mountain & Reading. In August 1988 the Aberdeen & Rockfish acquired it and it became AR 2486. On an unknown date the Pee Dee River RR acquired it and it became PDRR 2486. My photo
